Who is responsible for the data

Information processed on our website

• Website analytics: Google Analytics 4 may process device, browser, approximate location, referral, page-view and interaction information, including clicks that lead to our Etsy shop.
• Contact messages: when you use the contact form, we process the name, email address and message you provide. The form is delivered using Web3Forms.
• External links: when you follow a link to Etsy, Pinterest or Instagram, the destination service processes your visit under its own privacy policy.

We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, postal addresses or order identifiers to Google Analytics.

Our private analytics application

We operate a local decision-intelligence application for Wooden Design Garage. It combines performance information from our own website and our own business accounts to help us understand products, traffic, content and marketing performance.

• Pinterest: with the account owner's authorization, the application reads our own business account profile, boards, Pins and organic analytics through the official Pinterest API. It does not create, edit or delete Pins.
• Etsy: the application reads our own shop, listing and transaction performance through Etsy's official API and owner-exported reports.
• Google: the application reads aggregate Google Analytics and Search Console reporting for properties we control.

This application is private, single-user and used only by Wooden Design Garage. OAuth credentials are encrypted on the owner's Windows computer. Analytics reports and agent feeds are designed not to contain customer names, email addresses, postal addresses, order IDs or payment IDs. We do not use this data to make automated decisions about individuals.

Why we process information

We process information to operate and improve the website, answer enquiries, measure the effectiveness of content and campaigns, understand aggregate product performance, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. Depending on the context, our basis is consent, performance of a requested service, or our legitimate interest in operating and improving Wooden Design Garage.

Service providers and disclosure

We use service providers only where needed to operate the website and connected business services, including Google Analytics, Web3Forms, Etsy and Pinterest. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect our rights and the security of our services.

Retention and security

We retain contact messages only as long as needed to answer and manage the enquiry. Aggregate business analytics may be retained for historical comparison. Connected-account access can be revoked, and credentials are removed when they are no longer needed. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies. You can limit cookies through your browser settings and use Google's available opt-out tools. You can revoke a connected service's access from that service's account settings. Blocking some technologies may affect how parts of the website work.
